a brief but exciting engagement
We joined a team at Prudential which was focussed on driving innovation within the business, using cutting edge technology to solve real world problems.
There was a key focus within the team to accelerate delivery, to move away from the old monolithic ways of working, into the new agile world of iterative development. Delivering the MVP as quickly as possible, we were able to get a head start in the right direction at the beginning of the project by leveraging continuous feedback from the development team.
August 2017 - August 2018
We were brought into deliver a CI/CD pipeline to accelerate the development process and reduce the time to release to Production, and later transitioned into a development role once the pipeline was up and running.
- CI/CD pipeline in AWS using serverless technologies
- Extensive use of AWS CloudFormation
- Development of Micro Services with Python and NodeJS, for AWS Lambda
- Website Development using ReactJS, GraphQL and AWS AppSync
